Welcome to the world of competitive
swimming!
The following
forms have been created by the Port Townsend Swim Team to help
introduce you to our club, and to help you determine if your
swimmer & family are ready to join a competitive team (or
renew annual registration.)
What
these forms are:
PTST Registration/Medical
Form –return this
form to
PTST
This
information is kept at the pool and taken to meets, so we have
medical information on all swimmers in the event of an emergency.
We also use this form to update our roster. Please include an email
address if possible.
USA
Swimming Registration Form–return this form to PTST
There is an
annual USA Swimming Registration fee for each swimmer. Membership
is required to participate in our practices & all PNS sanctioned swim
meets. The swimmer and team receive Liability Insurance with
membership that covers
accidents at swim practice or at swim meets. This fee is collected
by PTST and paid to USA Swimming.
For new
swimmers, this fee must be paid within two weeks after joining and
covers the fall season and continues through the following year.
For returning swimmers, this fee must be paid by Dec. 1st for the
following year.
If you
decide to join, please fill out our PTST & USA Swimming
Registration forms and
return with payment of PTST first month group dues (coach assigned)
and the USA Swimming annual registration fee. Write checks to
PTST. All fees may be included in one check.

Expectation & Rulesand Discipline
Policy -handouts for you to

If your
swimmer decides to join PTST, our behavior expectations and
discipline policy need to be reviewed with your swimmer. PTST is
serious about our swimming and practices and expect swimmers to be
also. Both you &
your swimmer need to sign at the bottom of our registration form
acknowledging that you have read these two handouts and will abide
by them.

Meet
Schedule
The swim

Reduced fees
As our
budget allows, we offer some memberships at reduced rates based on
need (eligible for WA “Free Lunch” program.) If you
feel you qualify, please contact our Treasurer for more4
information.
Monthly Board
Meeting
We hold a
monthly Board Meeting with the Head Coach in attendance. Parents
& the public are welcome to attend. Date, time & location
vary, so check PTST calendar.
Let us know

send most of our information out via email. Update your profile
